Courses are curated specially to help talents better prepare for upcoming castings, portfolio development, and navigating the industry. Both events are open to the public and to all professionals.
COURSE 1: AUDITIONS & ETIQUETTE 101

Workshop Class Description:
Eager to learn about what it takes to be a professional talent? Come join us for this introductory course that
will help you better navigate the industry and provide you with essentials tools needed to be successful. You will gain an understanding of proper talent etiquette, what to expect during an audition and important vocabulary to know. Talents are expected to arrive dressed as if attending a real audition.
Things to bring:
Headshot: Bring a copy of your headshot.
Laptop or notebook
A small prop or personal item to use for mock audition.
Wardrobe:
Black/Dark fitted denim or pants
Women - Black fitted tank for women Men - Black fitted short sleeve t-shirt
Black shoes / heels + sneakers
Applied to both men and women - light/natural makeup. No dark makeup. No false lashes.

COURSE 2: RUNWAY WALKING & POSING

Workshop Class Description:
Come expand your skill set at this runway focused workshop hosted by veteran Rae talents, Synthia Sumlin and Thomas Dillon! They will walk through the basics of runway, standard walk for casting, versus high fashion/edgy walking styles, best posing and practices, facial expressions and overall runway performance. Synthia and Thomas are active runway models and are highlighted as our instructors to share valuable insight on the ever changing world of runway.
